How about the new unis? Alcorn apparently had some type of "wardrobe malfunction" and was unable to wear their white jersies, so they wore the gold and we went for the black jerseys instead of gold. I thought they looked pretty sharp

I thought it looked great! The stripe on the pants makes all the difference in the world.

At the luncheon, someone asked what we would wear. Coach Fedora said that Alcorn called and said all they had was gold unis so it would be some combination of Black and White. They did look nice. I like having the pseudo-stripe up the leg.

Asking Fedora "what will the team be wearing" is the second dumbest damn question ever asked on a call in show. Of course, number one will forever be "when are we gonna play (op or the hounds from pastureville)".

Pink and yellow paisley would be fine with me if the guys play like a SOUTHERN MISS player is supposed to play. "Tough" looking uniforms MAY influence how a junior high or pee wee player views himself as a player. If the uniform itself affects a D-1 player I hope he's playing for someone else besides SOUTHERN MISS.

It was worse than that. It was in person, not during the call in show. He hosts a luncheon on campus on Friday's before home games. Somebody wanted to know what we were wearing and Fedora's initial response was...clothes. He found the question ridiculous too. That being said...I thought we looked FAAAABULOUUUUUUS! ;-)

The uniforms looked "Old School" and in a good way.

I think that is what Fedora wanted to do but Father Tommy had just set to tone of the luncheon with his blessing and hilarious joke.

So the tone of the luncheon was that of a Shriner's convention?

I'd love to see the gold tops and black bottoms we wore last year against Marshall, especially with the new uniform changes that look so clean.

I'd just like to see 52 points on our side of the scoreboard for each game of the season.
This has been a sad year at EP. We miss you 78, Lifer and whodat.
